Terms of Service

WedPlan.LK is an online tool for planning a wedding: guests and RSVPs, vendors and payments, budget, seating, timeline, themes, and tasks. It is software, not a wedding planning agency. We do not arrange anything on your behalf or deal with your vendors.

• you must give a real email address and keep your password to yourself
• you are responsible for what happens under your account
• tell us promptly if you think someone else has access
• one account is for one couple's planning; do not resell access

Every account starts with a 7-day free trial with no card required. When it ends you need a paid plan to keep using the service: Pro, Rs. 2,900 per year.

Payment is manual. You transfer to our bank account or send payment by WhatsApp, then send us the slip. We activate your plan once we have confirmed it, usually within a few hours. Because it is manual there is no automatic renewal and no card on file, and nothing is ever charged without you deciding to pay.

If a payment is not received when a plan period ends, the account reverts to being locked until you renew. Your data is not deleted when a plan lapses; you keep it and regain access on renewal.

The free trial exists so you can decide before paying anything. If something goes wrong shortly after a payment, contact us and we will sort it out fairly. We would rather refund an unhappy customer than argue.

Everything you enter stays yours. We claim no ownership of your wedding plans, guest lists, or vendor records, and we do not use them for anything except running the service for you. You can ask for a copy or ask us to delete the account at any time.

When you enter guests' and vendors' details you are asking us to store that information for you. You confirm you are entitled to do so, and you agree to handle it responsibly, including deleting someone's details if they ask you to. Please share RSVP links only with the guest they belong to.

Do not:

• break the law, or use the service to harass anyone
• upload anything harmful, or try to break into the service or other accounts
• scrape, resell, or rebrand the service
• place unreasonable load on it deliberately

We may suspend an account that does these things.

We work to keep the service running, but we cannot promise it will never be unavailable. There will be maintenance, occasional faults, and dependencies outside our control. We keep backups, and we recommend you keep your own copy of anything critical, particularly close to the wedding.

The service is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited. A wedding matters, so please confirm the important arrangements with your vendors directly rather than relying on this tool alone.

You may stop using the service and ask us to delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms or does not pay, and we will give you reasonable notice and a chance to export your data unless the breach is serious.

We may update these terms. The date above changes, and we will tell you by email if the change materially affects you. Continuing to use the service means you accept the update.

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.
